The Diverter Internal Clear O-ring is the rubber sealing ring used inside the current-generation (post-2010) Arctic Spas diverter valve. It seals against water working its way past the rotating internal shaft of the diverter as the valve switches between jet zones.

What a diverter does: A diverter is the larger rotating valve on the spa rim that switches water flow between two or more jet zones — turn it one way and one bench's jets get the flow; turn it the other way and the other bench's jets do. The Internal mechanism rotates inside the diverter body, and this O-ring seals around the rotating shaft so water doesn't leak up past it during use.

Will this fit my spa? Yes, if your Arctic Spa is a 2010 or newer model with the current-generation clear-style diverter. If your spa is pre-2010 with the older diverter design, you may need a different O-ring — see the Diverter Cap (pre-2010) O-ring family instead. Bring the old part to one of our three Ontario showrooms if you're unsure which generation fits your spa.

When to replace: Replace any time you notice water at the top or sides of the diverter when the jets are running, the diverter feels stiff or grindy when you rotate it, or you're already disassembling the diverter for any other reason.

How to install: No need to drain the spa for an O-ring replacement. Unscrew the diverter cap, lift the internal mechanism out, remove the old O-ring, clean the seating area, lightly lubricate the new O-ring with plumbing-safe silicone lubricant, and reassemble.

Quick tips:

  • Replace the matching Diverter Cap Clear O-ring at the same time — they age together
  • If the diverter still feels stiff after a fresh O-ring and lubrication, the internal is worn and needs full replacement — not just the O-ring
