Arctic Pure | Salt Water Balance

Arctic Pure Salt Water Balance lowers pH and total alkalinity in your hot tub water. It's formulated specifically for Arctic Spas equipped with Onzen or Spa Boy automated salt water systems.

Why salt water spa owners need this: Salt water systems' sanitization will naturally increase pH levels over time. If left unchecked, high pH reduces sanitizer effectiveness, causes scale buildup on your salt cell and plumbing, and can turn your water cloudy or discoloured. The use of Salt Water Balance to maintain your pH in the ideal 7.2–7.6 range and your total alkalinity between 80–120 ppm, which is where your Onzen or Spa Boy system performs best.

When to use it: Test your water weekly with a drop test kit or test strips. If your pH reads above 7.6 or your total alkalinity is above 120 ppm, add Salt Water Balance to bring levels down. Use one capful per colour change on your test strip as a starting guideline.

Quick tips for salt water hot tub owners:

• Always adjust total alkalinity first, then pH — getting alkalinity right often corrects pH on its own
  
• If your water has turned yellow, green, or rusty, high pH is often the cause — lower it with Salt Water Balance and wait 48 hours before draining
